Hello, World!

I am interested in visual materials in museums, libraries and archives, as well as the archives that support the visual arts. As the very nature of the visual imagery we encounter changes and evolves, there are new opportunities presented for creating access and improving visual literacy. As the old images meet the new, I hope that my work allows for this recontextualization to happen in a way that maintains a hold on provenance as well as process.

I have a Bachelor's in Art History from NYU, and I recently graduated with a Master's in Information Studies from the School of Information at UT Austin. I currently work at UMass Amherst in the Image Collection Library.

Both personally and professionally, I am enthusiastic about book arts, fair use, visual literacy and sustainability.
